You can delete your account and the data attached to it at any time — the two sections below say exactly what goes and what is kept. There are two ways to do it, and both delete the same data, immediately and permanently.
1. In the game (fastest)
- Open Cannons & Canyons — in the app, or in your browser at the link below.
- On the home screen, tap the account chip in the bottom bar.
- Choose Delete my account and confirm twice.
If you linked a Google account, sign in first so the right account is deleted.
2. By request (if you no longer have the app)
Email us and we will delete the account for you. So we can find the right one, please include:
- the email address you used to sign in with Google, if you linked one; or
- your callsign and roughly when you last played, if you played as a guest.
Or use the support page.
We aim to action requests within 30 days. We may need to confirm you control the account before deleting it.
What gets deleted
| Deleted immediately | Notes |
|---|---|
| Your account and sign-in identity | Including the email address, Google account id, name and profile picture held if you linked Google |
| Your cloud save | Callsign, wins, achievements, unlocks |
| Your push subscriptions | All devices you enabled notifications on (your turn, and squad invites from friends) |
| Your friends and social data | Friend code, friends, friend requests, blocks, and every name report you made or that was made about you |
| Local game data | Deleted on the device you delete from; other devices clear on next sign-in attempt |
What is not deleted
Anonymous crash reports are not linked to your account and cannot be traced back to it; they are deleted automatically 30 days after they are recorded.
The live state of a match — shots, aim, movement — is held in server memory only and disappears when the match ends. The result of each online match you played is kept, permanently: one row holding the mode, the account identifier of every player who had one (the automatic guest account counts), who won and when. Those rows are not deleted with your account. They still carry the random identifier you played under, but everything that could join it to you — your account, your email address and Google profile, your callsign, your progression, your friends, your blocks and your reports — is erased, so nothing left connects a row back to you. Offline matches against the computer and solo Golf never reach a server and leave no row at all.
