Privacy Policy — Cannons & Canyons

The short version

Cannons & Canyons is an online artillery game for up to four players. It has no accounts, no tracking, no analytics, no ads SDKs, and nothing to buy. We collect as close to nothing as a multiplayer game can.

What the game processes

• Display name — the name you type on the title screen is sent to the other players in your match so they can see who they're playing. It is held in server memory only for the duration of your match and never written to disk.
• Gameplay messages — your shots, aim and movement are relayed between the players to run the match. They are not stored after the match ends.
• Turn notifications (only if you allow them) — if you opt in to turn nudges, your browser gives us a push subscription so we can tell you when it's your turn. It is held in server memory alongside your seat for the life of the match and discarded with it. Notifications are off unless you turn them on, and your browser lets you revoke them at any time.
• Local preferences and career stats — your name, chosen tank paint, mute setting, match-resume token, and your own win/loss record and achievements are stored in your browser's local storage on your own device. They never leave your device except as described above.

What we do NOT collect

• No accounts, emails, passwords or phone numbers
• No location data
• No advertising identifiers, no third-party trackers, no analytics
• No contacts, photos, or device files
• No payment details — the game is free, with no ads and nothing to buy

Children

The game is suitable for general audiences, collects no personal information beyond an optional self-chosen display name, and has no chat facility.

Data retention

Match state — including your display name and any turn-notification subscription — lives in server memory only and is deleted when the match ends or times out. There is no database and no user data is written to disk.
